Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in a hotel or accommodation near the Dead Sea area, start by heading to the main road that runs along the coast. Follow the signs pointing towards the Dead Sea. Once you reach the main road, look for the bus stop where local buses to Jerusalem are available. Board the bus heading to Jerusalem. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the central bus station in Jerusalem, exit the bus and look for signs pointing to light rail or public transport options. You can take the light rail towards the City Center and disembark at the 'City Hall' station. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to HaTsanhanim St. Follow the signs towards the Old City, and once you reach the intersection, turn left onto HaTsanhanim St. Continue walking until you reach Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center at number 3.

• Public Bus

  From your location at the Dead Sea, look for the closest bus stop where the local bus services operate. You need to catch a bus that goes to Jerusalem. Ensure you confirm with the bus driver that the bus stops at the Jerusalem main bus station. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem main bus station, exit the bus and head towards the nearby light rail station. Purchase a ticket for the light rail and take the train towards the City Center, getting off at the 'City Hall' stop. Exit the station and walk towards the Old City. Follow HaTsanhanim Street until you arrive at Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center.
