Getting There

• Walking

  To reach شجره معمره from the center of Umm Qais, start by heading north on the main road (known locally as the Umm Qais Road). Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to the archaeological site of Umm Qais. You will see signs directing you towards the site and the surrounding attractions. Turn left at the junction and continue straight. After about 600 meters, you will see the entrance to the archaeological park. Enter through the gates; شجره معمره is located within the park grounds. Follow the pathways to the northwest area of the park, where the ancient tree is located. The tree is well-signposted, and you will find a small area for visitors to rest and take photos.

• Public Transport

  From the main bus station in Umm Qais, board a local minibus that travels towards Sama Al-Rousan. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop nearest to شجره معمره. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop, walk approximately 300 meters to the northwest, following the signs that lead to the park. You will find the entrance to the archaeological site ahead. Once inside, navigate towards the northwestern section of the park, where شجره معمره is located.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Umm Qais and head north on the main road. Ride for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction that leads to the archaeological site. Turn left at the junction and continue straight for another 600 meters. You will see the entrance to the archaeological park. After entering the park, you can lock your bike at the designated bike racks. Follow the paths within the park to the northwest section, where شجره معمره is situated, marked by clear signage.
