Start your journey at the Jerash Archaeological Site entrance, which is located at the main entrance of the site. From there, walk straight along the main path leading into the site. Continue past the Oval Plaza and the Temple of Zeus, following the signs towards the South Gate. After you exit the archaeological site, continue walking straight ahead on the road. Keep an eye out for the sign that indicates the direction to الجسر الروماني (Roman Bridge). It will be about a 15-minute walk from the archaeological site. As you walk, you may encounter local shops and cafes, so feel free to take a break if needed.
Walking
If you are near the Jerash city center, start at the main square (Al-Midan). From the square, head east on Al-Hussein Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with King Abdullah II Street. Turn left and walk north on King Abdullah II Street. After about 1 km, you will come across a sign directing you to the الجسر الروماني (Roman Bridge) on your right. Follow this road for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at the bridge.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Jerash city center, you can take a local bus that heads towards the archaeological site. Buses frequently leave from the main bus station located near Al-Midan. Inform the driver that you want to go to الجسر الروماني (Roman Bridge). The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading to the bridge, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
