Walking
Start at the Jerash Archaeological Site entrance. Head east on the main road until you reach the intersection with the street leading to the Jerash town center. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al-Hasan Street. Continue walking along Al-Hasan Street for another 800 meters, passing local shops and cafes. Once you reach the end of Al-Hasan Street, turn right onto the road leading to the Zarqa River area. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers through the countryside. You will see signs directing you to the Zarqa River View Point. The destination is on your left side and is marked with a small sign.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the center of Jerash, head to the bus station located near the Jerash Archaeological Site. Look for a bus heading towards the Zarqa River area. Once you board the bus, inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when to get off. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After disembarking, follow the local path or ask locals for directions to the Zarqa River View Point, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Jerash. After renting, head out of the main square and follow the same route as pedestrians. Cycle along the main road towards the town center, then continue onto Al-Hasan Street. Keep cycling straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection that leads to the Zarqa River area. This ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the area, park your bicycle and walk the remaining few minutes to the Zarqa River View Point.
