Getting There

    If you are starting from the Jerash Archaeological Museum, exit the museum and head south towards the main entrance of the Jerash archaeological site. Continue straight until you reach the main plaza in front of the Oval Plaza. From there, walk towards the large columns of the Temple of Zeus, located to the north. Once at the Temple of Zeus, turn to your right and you will see the Southern Theatre directly ahead. It is just a short 5-minute walk from the Oval Plaza.

    If you are near the Arch of Hadrian, exit the arch and head southeast towards the main entrance of the archaeological site. Walk straight through the site until you reach the Oval Plaza. From the Oval Plaza, proceed to the Temple of Zeus, and then turn right to find the Southern Theatre. This should take you about 10 minutes walking at a leisurely pace.

    From the Jerash city center, head towards the north side of the city, aiming for the main entrance to the archaeological site.
