From the center of Kerak, start at the Kerak Castle. Head southeast on Al-Ma'moun Street until you reach the intersection with King Abdullah Street. Turn left onto King Abdullah Street and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you'll pass several local shops and cafes where you can grab a snack. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, turn right onto a smaller road that leads towards the hills, following the signs for راس الحاجب. The path will have some uphill sections, so be prepared for a bit of a hike. Continue along this path for about 30 minutes, and you will reach راس الحاجب, which is a scenic overlook offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

From the Kerak bus station, take a local minibus heading towards the southern routes. Ask the driver to drop you near راس الحاجب. The journey should take about 15 minutes. Once you get off, you may need to walk for about 10 minutes uphill on a well-marked path leading to راس الحاجب. Make sure to confirm with the driver or locals that you are on the correct route, as some buses may not go directly to the overlook.
