Getting There

  • Bus

    From Ma'an, head to the local bus station and take a bus heading to Amman. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus goes to the main bus station in Amman, known as 'Abdali Bus Station'. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive at Abdali Bus Station in Amman, exit the bus station and head north towards King Abdullah I Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Al-Malek Al Abdullah Street. Here, you can either take a taxi or walk. If you choose to walk, turn left on Al-Malek Al Abdullah Street and proceed straight; you will pass by the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts on your left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with K. Ali Ben Al-Hussein Street. Turn right onto K. Ali Ben Al-Hussein Street, and the Amman Citadel will be on your left. It should take about 20-30 minutes on foot from the bus station.
