Walking
Start at the Ma'an city center, near the main bus station. Head north on Al-Hussein Street. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with King Abdullah II Street. Turn left onto King Abdullah II Street and walk for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. As you approach the outskirts of Ma'an, look for signs directing you towards Petra. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Kings Way. Turn right onto the Kings Way, which will lead you towards Wadi Musa. Follow the road for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Petra Mountain House. The house will be on your left side, just before entering the town of Wadi Musa.
Public Transportation
From the Ma'an city center, walk to the main bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Wadi Musa (Petra). The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Inform the driver that you are going to Petra Mountain House. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, get off at the main bus stop. From there, walk along the main road (Kings Way) in the direction of Petra for about 1 kilometer. You will pass local shops and cafes. The Petra Mountain House will be located on your left side, just before entering the Petra archaeological site area.
