Bus
From Ma'an city center, head to the main bus station located at the south end of the city. Look for buses heading towards Wadi Musa, which is the town adjacent to Petra. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, disembark at the main bus stop.
Walking
After arriving at the Wadi Musa bus stop, walk towards the main road (Tourist Street) which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs directing you to Petra. Along the way, you will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking straight until you reach the Petra Visitor Center, which is a prominent building on the right side of the road.
