Bus
From Ma'an, head to the main bus station. Look for the bus heading towards Wadi Rum; it may be labeled 'Wadi Rum' or 'Rum Village'. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Wadi Rum. The bus will drop you off at the entrance of Wadi Rum Protected Area.
Shared Taxi
At Ma'an, you can find shared taxis (also known as 'service taxis') near the bus station. Look for a taxi heading towards Wadi Rum. The cost is typically shared among the passengers, and the ride should take about 1 hour. Confirm with the driver that your destination is Wadi Rum Protected Area before getting in.
Guided Tour
If you prefer a more organized experience, consider booking a guided tour from Ma'an that includes transportation to Wadi Rum. Many local tour operators offer this service, which generally includes a pickup from your accommodation in Ma'an.
