Walking
To reach Iraq Al Amir from the center of Madaba, start at the Madaba Tourist Information Center located on King Abdullah II Street. Head north on King Abdullah II Street for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Queen Noor Street. Turn left onto Queen Noor Street and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by several shops and cafes; keep an eye out for local landmarks to enjoy along the way. After reaching the end of Queen Noor Street, continue straight onto the road that leads towards Wadi Al-Seer. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to Iraq Al Amir. The site is located on your right.
Public Bus
From Madaba, you can take a public bus towards Amman. Locate the bus station near the Madaba Tourist Information Center. Board a bus heading to Amman and inform the driver you would like to get off at Wadi Al-Seer. The ride is about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Wadi Al-Seer, look for signs directing you to Iraq Al Amir, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head north along the main road, and you will find the site on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Madaba to Iraq Al Amir. You can find taxis near the Madaba Tourist Information Center. Negotiate the fare with the driver before starting your trip. The drive will take around 20-25 minutes. Simply ask the driver to take you to Iraq Al Amir, and they will know the location.
