From the center of Petra, head towards the main entrance and exit the site. Once you reach the main road, turn right and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, look for signs indicating the direction to Shobak. Continue straight for another 8 kilometers, following the road signs. You will eventually see Shobak Castle on your left, positioned on a hilltop.

If you are near the Petra Visitor Center, exit the center and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight until you reach the main entrance of Petra. From there, head towards the exit and once outside, turn right to follow the main road. You will walk approximately 1.5 kilometers before reaching the junction. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs for Shobak. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers until you see Shobak Castle on your left.
