Foot
From the center of Petra, head towards the main entrance and exit the site. Once you reach the main road, turn right and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, look for signs indicating the direction to Shobak. Continue straight for another 8 kilometers, following the road signs. You will eventually see Shobak Castle on your left, positioned on a hilltop.
Foot
If you are near the Petra Visitor Center, exit the center and turn left onto the main road. Walk straight until you reach the main entrance of Petra. From there, head towards the exit and once outside, turn right to follow the main road. You will walk approximately 1.5 kilometers before reaching the junction. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs for Shobak. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers until you see Shobak Castle on your left.
Foot
Starting from the Street of Facades, exit the archaeological site of Petra and walk towards the main entrance. Once you exit, turn right onto the main road heading towards Wadi Musa. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers and reach a junction. At the junction, follow the signs to Shobak, which will direct you left. Continue along the road for approximately 8 kilometers, and you will arrive at Shobak Castle, which is situated on a hill.
