Car
From Ras Al Naqb, get onto the Desert Highway (Highway 15) heading north. Continue driving for approximately 150 kilometers until you reach the junction for Umm Qais. Take the exit toward Umm Qais and follow the signs for the town. Once in Umm Qais, look for signs directing you to محمية اليرموك, which is located just outside the town. The final stretch is approximately 10 kilometers. Ensure you have GPS or a map app as cellular service may be limited in some areas.
Public Transportation
From Ras Al Naqb, take a local bus or shared taxi heading north towards Irbid. The bus will cost around 3-5 JOD. Once you reach Irbid, transfer to another bus or shared taxi heading to Umm Qais. This leg of the journey will cost approximately 1-2 JOD. Upon arrival in Umm Qais, you can take a taxi to محمية اليرموك, which is about 10 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be around 5-7 JOD.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Ras Al Naqb to محمية اليرموك. This will be the most expensive option, with fares likely ranging from 30-50 JOD depending on your negotiation skills and time of day. Ensure you agree on the price before starting your journey.
