Walking
From the center of Salt, head towards Al-Hussein Street and continue straight until you reach the main bus station. From there, board a shared taxi (known as 'service') heading towards Amman. Inform the driver that you want to go to Jericho. The service will take you directly to Jericho, which is a short trip. Once in Jericho, you can ask locals for directions to the Laura of Gerasimus monastery, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the city center. Look for signs or ask for directions to 'RG86+WP4'.

Start at the Salt public bus station located at the center of Salt. Look for a bus heading to Amman. Once on the bus, inform the driver of your destination to Jericho and pay the fare. Arriving in Jericho, disembark at the main bus terminal and follow the signs for local taxis. Take a taxi to the Laura of Gerasimus monastery, located in the plains of Jericho. Make sure to agree on the fare before boarding.
