Walking
To get to Madaba from the center of Salt, start at the Salt Bus Station, located near the Al-Hussein Mosque. Exit the bus station and head east on Al-Hussein Street. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main road, which is Al-Hussein Street. Take a left onto the main road. After approximately 500 meters, you will see signs for Madaba. Follow the signs, and you will eventually come to the Madaba city entrance. The total walking distance is about 1.5 to 2 kilometers, and it should take you around 25-30 minutes.
Public Bus
To reach Madaba by public bus, start at the Salt Bus Station, located near the Al-Hussein Mosque. Look for the minibus heading towards Madaba. The buses usually leave every 30 minutes. Once you board, the journey to Madaba takes around 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver or conductor that you are heading to Madaba. When you arrive in Madaba, you will be dropped off at the main bus stop in the city center, from where you can explore the area.
