Walking
From the center of Salt, head towards the main street, Al-Hussein Street. Walk along this street until you reach the junction with King Abdullah Street. Turn right onto King Abdullah Street and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a bus stop. Look for a local bus heading towards Jerash or Al-Salt that has a sign indicating 'Qumran' or 'Kalya'.
Public Transport
Take the local bus from Salt's main bus station (located near Al-Hussein Mosque) that goes towards the Dead Sea or Jericho. Confirm with the bus driver that the bus stops at Qumran National Park. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Qumran stop, follow the signposts leading to the park entrance, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Salt. Ask the driver to take you to Qumran National Park, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The drive should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon arrival, the taxi can drop you off at the park entrance.
