Getting There

• Walking

  Starting from the center of Tafilah, head east on Al-Hurriya Street towards the intersection with Al-Mashareq Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Al-Mahdiyah Street. Walk along Al-Mahdiyah Street for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto a smaller path leading towards the foothills. Continue on this path for about 500 meters, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to the Cedar Tree. You should see a trail leading upwards; follow this trail for another 300 meters until you reach شجرة أرز Cedar Tree, located at PH7P+WG, At-Tafilah.

• Bicycling

  From the main square in Tafilah, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start by heading east along Al-Hurriya Street. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Al-Mashareq Street. Continue straight until you reach the traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Al-Mahdiyah Street. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs indicating the direction of the Cedar Tree and take a left at the junction onto a smaller road. Ride for about 500 meters until you reach a path that leads up the hill. Follow the trail for approximately 300 meters to arrive at شجرة أرز Cedar Tree.

• Hiking

  Begin your hike from the center of Tafilah, taking Al-Hurriya Street towards the eastern outskirts of the town. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a point where the road starts to incline. Here, take the path on your left that leads towards the hills. This path is well-marked with signs indicating the Cedar Tree. Continue hiking for about 1.5 kilometers, following the trail that winds through the trees. The last stretch will require some light climbing, but it should take you directly to the شجرة أرز Cedar Tree, located at the coordinates PH7P+WG.
