Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Tafilah, start at the local bus station (محطة الحافلات). Head east on Al-Hussein Street (شارع الحسين) for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with King Abdullah II Street (شارع الملك عبد الله الثاني). Turn left and continue straight for another 2 km. You'll pass several shops and small cafes along the way. After reaching the outskirts of Tafilah, keep an eye out for signs pointing toward Dana Nature Reserve. When you reach the main entrance to the reserve, follow the signs guiding you towards عين ماء لحظة (Ain Ma' Lahda). The path is approximately 3 km from the entrance, leading you through beautiful natural scenery until you arrive at the location.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Tafilah. Start your journey from the bike rental location and head towards Al-Hussein Street (شارع الحسين). Cycle east for about 1 km to the intersection with King Abdullah II Street (شارع الملك عبد الله الثاني) and turn left. Continue cycling straight for about 2 km until you reach the outskirts of Tafilah. Keep an eye out for the signs to Dana Nature Reserve. Once you reach the entrance, continue on the designated cycling route for approximately 3 km until you arrive at عين ماء لحظة (Ain Ma' Lahda). This route offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

• Hiking

  For the more adventurous, begin your hike from Tafilah at the local bus station (محطة الحافلات). Head east on Al-Hussein Street (شارع الحسين) for about 1 km. Turn left onto King Abdullah II Street (شارع الملك عبد الله الثاني) and walk for approximately 2 km until you reach the entrance of Dana Nature Reserve. Once inside the reserve, follow the marked hiking trails that lead you directly to عين ماء لحظة (Ain Ma' Lahda). The hike is approximately 3 km and takes you through breathtaking landscapes, so be sure to bring water and enjoy the scenery along the way.
