Getting There

Walking

From the center of Tafilah, head north on Al-Hussein Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Al-Khader Street. Turn right onto Al-Khader Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Al-Nasr Street. At this intersection, turn left. Follow Al-Nasr Street as it curves slightly to the right and becomes Al-Jazeera Street. Keep walking straight, and you will see signs for Mt Nebo as you get closer. The walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
Public Transport

From Tafilah's main bus station, take a local minibus heading towards Madaba. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to Mt Nebo. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Mt Nebo. After getting off, you may need to walk approximately 20-30 minutes uphill to reach the entrance of Mt Nebo.
Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in Tafilah and cycle towards Mt Nebo. Start from the city center and head north on Al-Hussein Street. After reaching Al-Khader Street, turn right and continue straight until you reach Al-Nasr Street. Turn left and follow the road signs towards Mt Nebo. The ride will take about 1 hour, but be prepared for some uphill sections.
