Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from Tafilah city center, head west on King Abdullah Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al-Fawwar Street. Turn right onto Al-Fawwar Street and walk for another kilometer. You will pass by local shops and cafes. After 1 kilometer, turn left onto a small road that leads uphill. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Great Temple in Wadi Musa. Look for signs indicating the archaeological site.

    From the Tafilah bus station, take a bus heading towards Wadi Musa, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, get off at the main bus stop. From there, walk straight along the main road for about 500 meters until you see signs for the Great Temple. Follow the signs, and it will lead you directly to the entrance of the site.
