Walking
If you are starting from the Petra Visitor Center, head south along the main path towards the entrance of Petra. As you walk, keep the mountains on your left side. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Siq, a narrow gorge leading into Petra. Walk through the Siq, which is approximately 1.2 kilometers long, and enjoy the towering rock formations on both sides. At the end of the Siq, you will arrive at Al-Khazneh (The Treasury). From Al-Khazneh, continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Street of Facades. The Nymphaeum is located slightly off to the left side of this area, about 200 meters from the Street of Facades.
Guided Tour
Consider joining a guided tour that departs from the Petra Visitor Center. These tours typically include a knowledgeable guide who will lead you through the major sites of Petra, including the Nymphaeum. During the tour, follow the guide's instructions, and make sure to ask questions if you need more information about the route or the landmarks you pass by.
Horse Ride
For a unique experience, you can opt for a horse ride starting at the Petra Visitor Center. Upon arrival, you can hire a horse from the designated area. The horse will take you through the main path towards the Siq. Once you reach Al-Khazneh, dismount and continue on foot. From there, follow the walking instructions provided earlier to reach the Nymphaeum. Make sure to negotiate the price for the horse ride beforehand.
