If you are starting from the Petra Visitor Center, head southeast on the main path leading into Petra. You will pass the entrance gate and continue straight ahead. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the Siq, a narrow gorge that leads to the Treasury. Walk through the Siq for about 20 minutes, and you will emerge at the Treasury. Once you are at the Treasury, continue walking along the main path to the left of the Treasury, following the signs towards the Colonnaded Street. The Colonnaded Street is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Treasury.

If you are starting from the Petra Archaeological Museum, exit the museum and head back towards the main entrance path. Turn right and follow the path down towards the main area of Petra. Continue straight until you reach the Treasury. From the Treasury, take the path to the left that leads towards the Colonnaded Street. It should take you about 15 minutes to walk from the museum to the Colonnaded Street.
