Getting There

  • Car

    From Mujib Nature Reserve, head northwest on the main road (King's Highway) towards At-Tafilah. Continue driving for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for Dana Village. Look for signs indicating 'Dana Reserve' and make a right turn. Drive for about 15 km, following the signs until you arrive at Dana Reserve, which will be on your left. Parking is available at the reserve entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Dana Reserve using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus stop in Mujib Nature Reserve. Take a bus heading to At-Tafilah. The journey should take about 45 minutes. Once in At-Tafilah, you'll need to take a taxi to Dana Reserve, which is roughly 15 km away. Be sure to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver before starting your journey; expect to pay around 10-15 JOD for the ride.

  • Bicycle

    If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Mujib Nature Reserve. To get to Dana Reserve, follow the main road (King's Highway) northwest for about 30 km until you reach the junction to Dana Village. Turn right and continue for another 15 km on the scenic route to reach Dana Reserve. Be aware that cycling may take several hours, and it’s advisable to start early in the day.
