From Tafileh Highlands, head north on the main road (King Abdullah II Street) towards Karak. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the junction for the Dead Sea Road (Route 65). Take a left onto Route 65 and continue driving for another 40 km. You will pass through the scenic landscapes of the Jordan Valley. Follow the signs for the Jordan River, which will direct you to the area. There is no toll on this route, but be prepared for possible fuel costs.
Public Transportation
From Tafileh Highlands, take a local minibus or taxi to Karak. This should cost around 1-2 JOD. Once in Karak, transfer to a bus heading towards the Dead Sea. Buses run regularly, and the fare is typically around 3-4 JOD. Inform the driver you want to stop at the Jordan River area. Upon reaching the Dead Sea area, you may need to hire a taxi for the last leg to the river, costing approximately 5-10 JOD, depending on your exact drop-off point.

If you prefer not to drive, you can hire a taxi directly from Tafileh Highlands to the Jordan River. Negotiate the fare beforehand; expect to pay around 25-30 JOD for a one-way trip. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.
