Getting There

Walking

Start your journey at the main entrance of Umm Qais Archaeological Park. Head east towards the main road, following the signs for the village center. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. At the intersection, turn left and walk for another 300 meters. You will see a sign for غابة القبو (Ghabat al-Qabu) pointing to your right. Take this right turn and follow the path leading into the wooded area. The entrance to غابة القبو will be approximately 200 meters down this path.

If you are near the Umm Qais Visitor Center, exit the center and walk towards the main road. Turn left and proceed north for about 400 meters until you reach the large roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit to the right. Walk straight for about 600 meters, and you will see a pathway that leads to غابة القبو on your left. Follow this path for about 150 meters to reach the entrance.

From the Umm Qais ruins, head south towards the main road. Turn right and walk along the road for about 300 meters. Look for a small dirt path on your left, next to some olive trees. Follow this dirt path into the woods for approximately 250 meters, and you will arrive at غابة القبو.
