Walking
From the center of Umm Qais, start by heading towards the main road that leads you towards the ruins of the ancient city. Keep walking along the path that goes past the Umm Qais Archaeological Site. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, following the signs pointing towards the archaeological area. As you pass the site, you will see signs for وادي الجوق. Make a right turn onto a smaller path that leads towards the valley. Continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach a fork in the path. Take the left path, which will lead you directly to وادي الجوق.

Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Umm Qais. Start your ride from the center and head towards the main road leading to the ancient ruins. Follow the same route as the walking instructions, cycling along the path past the archaeological site. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto the smaller path leading to وادي الجوق. Continue for approximately 500 meters and take the left fork at the split to reach the valley.

Hiking
For those who enjoy hiking, you can start from the Umm Qais visitor center. Take the hiking trails that are well marked towards the ancient ruins. As you hike, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding countryside. After reaching the archaeological site, look for the signs directing you to وادي الجوق.
