Turn left onto the road leading into Petra. Follow the signs for the Byzantine Church. The church is located approximately 3 kilometers from the Visitor Center. Once you arrive at the site, there is parking available nearby.

To reach the Byzantine Church using public transportation, find a local taxi or shared minibus heading to Petra. Inform the driver that you want to visit the Byzantine Church. They will drop you off at the Petra Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or hire a horse or donkey to take you to the Byzantine Church, which is about 3 kilometers away. Follow the signs for the church once you are on foot.
