Foot
From your current location in Wadi Rum village, head south along the main path towards the desert. Follow the signs for Jabal Umm ad Dami. The walk takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. As you walk, enjoy the stunning desert scenery around you. Look for the distinctive red sandstone formations that mark the trail. When you reach the base of Jabal Umm ad Dami, you will see a clearly marked trail leading to the summit.
Camel
You can hire a camel from a local Bedouin guide in Wadi Rum village. Once you have your camel, follow the same trail south towards Jabal Umm ad Dami. The camel ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. The guides are familiar with the area and can assist you in navigating to the base of the mountain. Ensure to communicate your destination clearly before starting your journey.

Join a guided tour from Wadi Rum village, which will take you directly to Jabal Umm ad Dami. The guides will provide transportation on 4x4 vehicles to the base of the mountain.
