Getting There

• Walking

  From the Wadi Rum Visitor Center, exit the building and head south towards the main road. You will see a sign for the Wadi Rum Nature Reserve. Continue walking along the path that leads into the desert area. After about 1 kilometer, you will come across a fork in the path. Take the left path, which is marked with signs indicating various camps including Wadi Rum Caravan Camp. Follow this path for another 1.5 kilometers until you see the camp entrance on your left.

• Camel Ride

  If you're interested in a traditional experience, you can arrange a camel ride from the Wadi Rum Visitor Center. Look for local guides offering camel tours. They will typically lead you through the desert, explaining the landmarks along the way. The ride will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to ask your guide to take you to Wadi Rum Caravan Camp specifically so they know your destination.

• Transportation by Local Bedouin

  You can also hire a local Bedouin guide to take you to Wadi Rum Caravan Camp. This can be arranged at the Visitor Center or through your accommodation. The guide will drive you in a 4x4 vehicle through the beautiful landscape of Wadi Rum, showcasing the stunning rock formations and natural beauty. The drive usually takes about 30 minutes. Ensure you confirm the destination with your guide as they are familiar with the area.
