If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Oakley, KS. Head southwest on US-83 S for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with K-25. Turn left onto K-25 S and continue for approximately 15 miles. Look for signs for Monument Rocks, and take a right onto an unpaved road (N 38.7955 W -100.7641). Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area for Monument Rocks. There is no entry fee, but please ensure to have a full tank of gas before leaving Oakley as services are limited.

Once in Oakley, you can either rent a car or use a rideshare service to reach Monument Rocks. There is a designated bike lane for part of the route, but be cautious as the roads can be busy. After about 10 miles, turn left onto K-25 S and continue for another 15 miles. Be sure to wear a helmet, use appropriate safety gear, and bring plenty of water and snacks as this route is approximately 25 miles one way.
