From Cross Timbers, head south on Main Street until you reach the junction with US-54. Turn left onto US-54 East and continue for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit toward KS-39 South, and merge onto KS-39 South. After about 8 miles, turn right onto Kansas 66777. Continue on Kansas 66777, and you will reach Toronto Lake after approximately 5 miles. Look for signs indicating the lake entrance.

Public transportation options are limited in this rural area. You will likely need to first take a local bus or taxi to the nearest larger city, such as Iola, which is approximately 25 miles away. From Iola, you can catch a Greyhound bus or a regional transit service heading towards the Toronto area. Once you arrive in the Toronto vicinity, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare service to take you to Toronto Lake, as public transportation does not directly service the lake.
