If you're driving from anywhere in Eastern Kansas, take the nearest major highway (I-70, I-35, or US-69) heading towards Kansas City, MO. Follow the signs for I-70 W/I-35 S. Once you approach downtown Kansas City, take exit 2A for I-670 E, and then take exit 1C for Broadway Blvd. Merge onto Broadway Blvd and continue straight until you reach 20th St. Turn right on 20th St, then left onto Vine St. The Kansas City Workhouse will be on your left at 2001 Vine St. Make sure to check for parking availability in the area, as there may be fees associated with street or lot parking.
