If you're starting from downtown Emporia, head east on West 6th Avenue towards South Commercial Street. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach South Commercial Street. Turn left onto South Commercial Street and walk north for about 1 mile. Then, turn right onto West 12th Avenue and continue for about a quarter mile until you reach Sodens Road. Finally, turn left onto Sodens Road, and the David Traylor Zoo of Emporia will be on your right at 75 Sodens Rd.

From downtown Emporia, you can bike east on West 6th Avenue. Once you reach South Commercial Street, turn left and head north. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto West 12th Avenue. Continue down West 12th Avenue until you reach Sodens Road. Turn left onto Sodens Road, and the zoo will be located on your right. The bike ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.
