If you are driving from anywhere in High Plains, first locate US-77. Head north on US-77 until you reach the junction with K-9. Turn left onto K-9 and continue west for approximately 6 miles. After 6 miles, turn right onto 23rd Rd. The Hollenberg Pony Express Station State Historic Site is located on your right at 2889 23rd Rd, Hanover, KS 66945. Look for the sign indicating the historic site.
