Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you are in downtown Kansas City, find the nearest bus stop and take the Metro bus route 56 heading south. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at Oak Street and 46th Street. From there, walk east on 46th Street for two blocks until you reach Southmoreland Park at 4600 Oak St. The park will be on your right.

• Public Transit - Streetcar

  Start at the Kansas City streetcar line located at Union Station. Take the streetcar heading north towards City Market. Get off at the 10th and Main stop. Transfer to the bus route 56 (which you can catch at the same stop) heading south. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Oak Street and 46th Street stop. Walk east on 46th Street for two blocks to reach Southmoreland Park at 4600 Oak St.

• Walking

  If you are near the Country Club Plaza, you can walk to Southmoreland Park. Head north on Pennsylvania Avenue until you reach 46th Street. Turn left and walk west for about 10 minutes. The park will be on your left at 4600 Oak St.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations in downtown Kansas City. Head south on Main Street and follow the bike lanes. After about 20 minutes, turn right onto Oak Street. Continue until you reach Southmoreland Park at 4600 Oak St.
