Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Lawrence, head southeast on Massachusetts Street towards 9th Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 9th Street. Turn right onto 9th Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Kentucky Street, then turn left. Continue on Kentucky Street until you reach the intersection with 12th Street, where you will find the southern entrance to the Lawrence Public Library. From there, you can follow the signs to the nearest public transportation options.

• Biking

  From the University of Kansas campus, take the bike path heading east towards downtown Lawrence. Follow the path until it intersects with Massachusetts Street. Turn left onto Massachusetts Street and head north. Continue on Massachusetts Street until you reach 6th Street. Turn right onto 6th Street and then take the next left onto Kentucky Street. Follow Kentucky Street until you arrive at the Lawrence Public Library, which is close to public transport options that can take you to your final destination.

• Public Transportation

  If you are near the Massachusetts Street bus stop, take the bus that goes towards the Lawrence Public Library. The library is a central hub for public transportation in the area, making it easy to transfer to another bus if needed. Once you arrive at the library, you can easily walk to various attractions in downtown Lawrence, including restaurants and shops.
