If you are starting from downtown Lawrence, head east on Massachusetts Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 11th Street. Turn right onto 11th Street and proceed until you reach Louisiana Street. Turn left on Louisiana Street and walk north until you reach the intersection with 6th Street. Turn right on 6th Street and continue until you reach the bus stop at the intersection with Indiana Street. From there, catch the Lawrence Transit bus route 1 heading towards the east. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the stop at 19th Street and Haskell Avenue. Get off the bus and continue walking east on 19th Street. Finally, turn right onto Haskell Avenue, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the Charles River Esplanade.

From downtown Lawrence, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations. Head east on Massachusetts Street until you reach 11th Street.
