    Getting There

    Bus

    From downtown Lawrence, head to the nearest bus stop on Massachusetts Street. Take the Lawrence Transit Bus Route 1 towards the Lawrence Municipal Airport. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the transfer point at 6th and Wakarusa. Transfer to Bus Route 29, which will take you towards the Lawrence outskirts. Continue on this bus for another 15 minutes until you reach the stop at Wakarusa and 31st Street. From there, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to the location, following the signs towards the south end of 31st Street, and then turning onto Argilla Road.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the rental stations in downtown Lawrence. Start your journey by heading east on 9th Street until you reach Massachusetts Street. Turn left and continue north until you reach 6th Street. Turn right on 6th and bike until you reach Wakarusa Drive. Take Wakarusa Drive south. You will ride for about 30 minutes, and once you reach 31st Street, turn left and follow the road until you reach Argilla Road. The orchard will be on your right.

    Walking

    If you’re up for a walk, start from the Lawrence Public Library on 7th Street. Head south on Massachusetts Street for about 1 mile until you reach Wakarusa Drive. Turn left onto Wakarusa Drive and walk for about 1.5 miles. When you reach 31st Street, turn right and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. Argilla Road will be on your left, and Russell Orchards is located at 147 Argilla Rd. It should take you around 45 minutes to an hour to walk there.
