Getting There

• Walking

  From downtown Lawrence, start at Massachusetts Street, which is the main street filled with shops and restaurants. Head south on Massachusetts Street towards 7th Street. Continue on Massachusetts until you reach 7th Street, then turn left (east) onto 7th Street. Walk straight until you reach Kentucky Street, and then turn right (south) onto Kentucky Street. Continue walking south on Kentucky Street for about 3 blocks until you arrive at Buford M. Watson Jr. Park, located at 727 Kentucky St.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Lawrence. Begin your ride from the nearest station and head south on Massachusetts Street. Turn east onto 7th Street and then south onto Kentucky Street. Continue biking straight for approximately 3 blocks until you reach Buford M. Watson Jr. Park at 727 Kentucky St. The bike ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.
