If you are driving from Monument Rocks, start by heading south on KS-83 S. Continue on KS-83 S for approximately 15 miles until you reach I-70 E. Merge onto I-70 E and drive for about 130 miles. Take exit 2C for I-670 toward Kansas City. Merge onto I-670 E and continue for about 2 miles. Take the exit toward 7th St/State Ave. Continue straight onto 7th St, then turn left onto Grand Blvd. Continue straight for about half a mile, then turn right onto Memorial Dr. The National WWI Museum and Memorial will be on your left at 2 Memorial Dr, Kansas City, MO 64108. Parking may incur a fee, so be sure to check the museum's website for details.

For public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound bus from the nearest bus station in Scott City, KS, heading to Kansas City, MO. The bus ride typically takes around 3.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Greyhound station in Kansas City, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the KCATA bus # 25 (Troost Line) towards Troost & 39th. Get off at the 10th & Main stop. From there, transfer to bus # 101 (Main Street MAX) heading towards the Union Station. This route will take you directly to the National WWI Museum and Memorial, which is located near Union Station. The entire trip may take about 4-5 hours depending on transfer times. Check for bus fares on the KCATA website.
