To reach the Kansas City Workhouse located at 2001 Vine St, Kansas City, MO 64108 by car from anywhere in Southeast Kansas, start by getting onto US-400 W from your location. Follow US-400 W until you merge onto I-35 N. Continue on I-35 N, following signs for Kansas City. Merge onto I-70 W and continue driving until you reach the exit for I-670 W toward Kansas City. Take the exit toward 7th St and turn left onto 7th St. Turn right onto Vine St, and the Kansas City Workhouse will be on your left. Note that parking may be limited in the area, and you may need to find a nearby parking garage or lot.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from various locations in Southeast Kansas to the Kansas City Greyhound Station. Once you arrive at the Greyhound Station, you can use the local bus services. Take the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) bus #18 (Troost) or bus #47 (Broadway).
