To get to the Evel Knievel Museum from downtown Topeka, take the Shawnee County Transit (SCAT) bus route. Board the SCAT bus at the nearest stop in downtown. You will want to take the bus heading towards the Topeka Boulevard. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop nearest to 2047 SW Topeka Blvd. Once you disembark, walk south for a few minutes on Topeka Blvd until you reach the museum. The total journey may take around 30-45 minutes depending on the bus schedule.
Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can start from the Kansas State Capitol building located at 300 SW 10th Ave. Head south on SW 10th Ave until you reach SW Topeka Blvd. Turn right onto SW Topeka Blvd and continue heading south. The Evel Knievel Museum will be located on your left at 2047 SW Topeka Blvd. The ride is approximately 2.5 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes.
Walking
For those who wish to walk to the Evel Knievel Museum, start from the Topeka Performing Arts Center located at 214 SE 8th Ave. Head west on SE 8th Ave until you reach SW Topeka Blvd, then turn left (south). Continue walking down SW Topeka Blvd for about 1.5 miles. The museum will be on your left at 2047 SW Topeka Blvd. The walk is about 30-40 minutes.
