Car
If you're driving from within Kentucky, head towards Louisville. Use I-65 S if you're coming from the north or I-64 W if you're coming from the east. Once you reach the Louisville area, take exit 132 for 3rd St. Continue on 3rd St and then take the ramp onto I-264 E towards Shelbyville. From I-264 E, take exit 12 for Taylor Blvd. Turn right onto Taylor Blvd, and then take a left onto Taylor Ave. The Louisville Mega Cavern will be on your right at 1841 Taylor Ave, Louisville, KY 40213. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the TARC (Transit Authority of River City) bus service. Start by locating the nearest TARC bus stop and take the #18 bus towards 'Floyd & Main.' Transfer at the 'Floyd & Main' stop to the #23 bus towards 'Eastern Pkwy & Taylor.' Get off at the 'Taylor Ave & Poplar Level' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Louisville Mega Cavern. Walk north on Poplar Level Rd, then turn right onto Taylor Ave, where you will find the entrance at 1841 Taylor Ave. Be sure to check the TARC website for current schedules and fares.
