Getting There

    From downtown Bowling Green, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Board the #1 bus heading towards the Fort Campbell area. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Fort Campbell Transit Center. Once you arrive, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the visitor center. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Rakkasan Memorial, which is located within Fort Campbell. The memorial is a short walk from the visitor center.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bowling Green. Begin your journey by heading north on Kentucky Street until you reach the intersection with US-31W. Turn left onto US-31W and continue north for about 15 miles. You will reach the entrance to Fort Campbell. Once inside the base, follow the signs to Rakkasan Memorial. It might take around 1 hour to bike there, so ensure you have plenty of water and check the weather before heading out.

    If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, start from downtown Bowling Green. Head north on College Street towards US-31W. Upon reaching US-31W, follow it north.
