Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Covington city center, head south on Madison Avenue (this is the main street). Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Ohio River. Turn left onto W Mehring Way. The Ohio River Trail will be on your right. This walk will take approximately 12-15 minutes.

Public Transport
From Covington, you can take the TANK bus. Catch the Route 1 bus at the Covington Transit Center. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Cincinnati - 4th & Main' stop. Walk east on 4th Street for about 5 minutes until you reach W Mehring Way. Turn right, and you'll find the Ohio River Trail a short distance ahead.

If you have access to a bike, you can take the bike path that runs along the river. Start at the bike rental station near the Covington Public Library on Madison Avenue. Head south towards the Ohio River, cross over the bridge into Cincinnati, and follow the bike lane along W Mehring Way. The Ohio River Trail will be directly accessible from there.
