If you are traveling by car, start on US-27 S from any location in the Cumberland Plateau. Follow signs for I-75 S towards Knoxville. Merge onto I-75 S and continue for about 50 miles. Take exit 160 for US-25E S towards Harrogate. Continue on US-25E S for approximately 12 miles. Turn left onto Wilderness Rd Trail, and Gap Cave will be on your right just before you enter the town of Cumberland Gap. Note that there might be a small parking fee, so be prepared with some cash.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from major cities to the nearest bus station in Harrogate, TN. From Harrogate, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to Gap Cave, as public transportation options are limited in the area.
