Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Elizabethtown Town Square, head south on North Mulberry Street toward West Poplar Street. Continue straight to stay on North Mulberry Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with West Dixie Avenue. Turn left onto West Dixie Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles. Then, turn right onto East Lincoln Trail Boulevard and continue for about 0.7 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Freeman Lake Park, which will be on your left. Follow the walking path into the park to reach Freeman Lake.

• Bicycle

  Starting from the Elizabethtown Town Square, head south on North Mulberry Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto West Dixie Avenue. Peddle along West Dixie Avenue for about 0.3 miles, then make a right onto East Lincoln Trail Boulevard. Continue biking for approximately 0.7 miles. You will see the entrance to Freeman Lake Park on your left. The park has bike paths, so you can explore around the lake once you arrive.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  Begin your journey at the nearest bus stop to your location in Elizabethtown. Check the local bus schedule for routes that head toward the Freeman Lake area. Typically, you would take a bus that stops at or near the Elizabethtown Transit Center. From there, transfer to the bus that travels along East Lincoln Trail Boulevard. Get off at the stop closest to Freeman Lake Park. Once you disembark, look for the entrance to Freeman Lake Park, which should be within a short walking distance.
