If you are in downtown Elizabethtown, start at the Elizabethtown City Hall located at 200 W Dixie Ave. Head south on Dixie Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Ring Road. Turn left onto Ring Road and continue walking east for approximately 1 mile. You will see the Freeman Lake Running Trails entrance on your right at 1921 Ring Rd. Follow the trail signs to access the running paths around the lake.
Biking
From the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College located at 600 College Street Rd, start biking north on College Street. After about 0.7 miles, turn right onto Ring Road. Continue biking for about 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Freeman Lake Running Trails on your left at 1921 Ring Rd. Secure your bike at the bike rack near the entrance before heading onto the trails.
Public Transport (Walking to Bus Stop)
If you are near the Elizabethtown Transit bus stop located at 1000 North Mulberry Street, take the bus that routes towards Ring Road. Get off at the stop closest to Ring Road and walk approximately 0.3 miles north to reach the entrance of Freeman Lake Running Trails at 1921 Ring Rd. Look for the trailhead signs as you approach the lake.
