From Fort Thomas, head to the nearest bus stop on N Fort Thomas Ave at Highland Ave. Take the TANK bus Route 1 towards Cincinnati. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the '6th St & Main St' stop. From there, walk southwest on Main St towards the river for about 10 minutes until you reach Smale Riverfront Park at 166 W Mehring Way.

If you're up for a walk, start from the center of Fort Thomas. Head south on N Fort Thomas Ave until you reach the intersection with Alexandria Pike (US-27). Cross the street and continue walking south until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the Ohio River. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the Cincinnati side, follow the signs to Smale Riverfront Park, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bridge.

You can rent a bike from local rental shops in Fort Thomas. Start biking south on N Fort Thomas Ave towards the Alexandria Pike (US-27). Once you reach the road, head south until you reach the pedestrian bridge. Cross the bridge, and then follow the bike paths along the river until you arrive at Smale Riverfront Park, which should take around 30 minutes.
