Walking
If you are starting from the Frankfort Civic Center, head east on E Main St toward Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Wapping St. Turn left onto Wapping St and walk for approximately 0.3 miles. You'll then cross the bridge over the Kentucky River. After crossing the bridge, continue straight as Wapping St turns into Wapping St Ext. Follow this road until you reach the entrance of the park that leads to Hurst Waterfall.

From the Frankfort Transit Center, take the bus route that heads towards the Kentucky State Capitol. Get off at the stop closest to the Capitol and walk down Capital Ave toward the river. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the Kentucky River. From there, follow the riverbank walking path which will lead you directly toward Hurst Waterfall, approximately a 15-minute walk along the scenic route.
